Terms & Conditions for Tithi

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Tithi mobile application (“Tithi,” the “app”), operated by Shiachi.co, an individual based in Gurugram, India (“we,” “us,” “our”). By downloading or using Tithi, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction) to use Tithi.

2. Your account

You sign in using Google or Apple. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in credentials secure. Notify us at support@shiachi.co of any unauthorized use.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to: use Tithi unlawfully; interfere with or disrupt the service; attempt to access it through unauthorized means; reverse engineer the app except as permitted by law; or upload unlawful, infringing, or harmful content. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Your content

You retain ownership of the calendars, events, and other content you create (“Your Content”). You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display Your Content solely to operate the service for you. You are responsible for Your Content and for having the rights to it. Public calendars you choose to follow or share are subject to in-app sharing settings.

5. Religious and calendar information

Tithi provides tithi, festival, vrat, sunrise, sunset, and related calendar information for general informational purposes. While we aim for accuracy, such calculations can vary by tradition, location, and method, and we do not warrant that they are error-free. Do not rely on them where precise timing is critical without independent verification.

6. Advertising and third-party services

Tithi is free and supported by advertising (Google AdMob) and uses third-party services such as Google Firebase, Google Sign-In, and Apple Sign-In. Your use of those services is also governed by their terms and privacy policies. Ads and third-party content are not endorsements by us.

7. Intellectual property

Tithi, including its name, design, logos, and software, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by law. Except for Your Content, these Terms do not grant you any rights in the app beyond a limited, revocable, non-exclusive license to use it for personal, non-commercial purposes.

8. Availability and changes

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of Tithi at any time. We may update the app and these Terms from time to time; continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

9. Disclaimers

Tithi is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, arising from your use of Tithi. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid us for it (which, for a free app, is zero).

11. Termination

You may stop using Tithi and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access for violations of these Terms or as required by law.

12. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Gurugram, Haryana, India, for any disputes, subject to applicable law.
